@Disodium: That would work if this was Outlook 2010 (or 2007.or 2003.or 2002.). But you can't do that in Outlook 2011. If you choose to import to Outlook 2011 for Mac, the calendar is deposited in the 'on my computer' section of the folder tree. I cannot make it go into the exchange server section of the folder tree. Thus the drag-and-drop. With the contacts, tasks, and notes, I was able to drag then en masse.this made the user happier. The calendar being one-by-one means I can solve the problem.
It just takes too freakin' long. I know this is an old one, but i've just managed to figure this out. View only the calendar that is 'on my computer' (i.e. Untick the rest) in the 'organize' bar -> 'List' view click in the search box, top right, then chose 'advanced' in the search bar that appears click 'folder' as the option in the search criteria, click 'is' for the middle box, and then in the right one, select your 'on my computer' calendar.
